This handy little cross is a mix of the cinnamon and spider mutations. This combo will prove to be very useful in futrure crosses! Both genes represent them selves well in this combo. This cross features various shades of brown and rich earth tones and is combines with the spider webbing supplied from the spider gene.

This is a huge tripple mutation combining the cinnamon lesser and spider traits. We were pleased to see how all three genes came together on this one. The cinnamon adds alot of character to the lesser bee and we are very enthusiastic about this morphs combo potential. We have plans to put a super blast into this cross

this is another interesting combo that we were fortunate enough to hatch. the lesser cinnamon is a perfect combination of the lesser and cinnamon pastel traits. it features a reduced melted type pattern on a mahogany colored back ground. We are very pleased to be working with this cross and hope to mix it up with some hypo genes in the future.

Im down to my last few clutches of the season now. There are 2 left to hatch. 1 clutch for queen bees which i need to hit because i missed the first time around and the second is from a lesser bee to a normal. I ve done well for lesser bee production this season but could use a couple more hold back females. We cut a clutch this morning and it looks like i might have hit on a yellow belly spot nose, not a 100% sure just yet but we’ll see in a couple days. This season has been good to us. we missed on a few things but did well on others. im really happy with what weve done for the spot nose gene as well as pastel clown production. I can t believe it but im already thinking about what pairings are coming up. Im preping for a lite season coming but i think im really going to focus alot of efforts on recessives. I want to do alot with the ultramel and pastel clown stuff. This season will be the fist time i try for double hets. Alot of my girls are putting on size again after laying so we are in a good standing so far. the CRBE expo is coming up soon. We are not vending this season as we have a new baby boy and just too much on our plates. i think i will be going down as a spectator so it will be noce to be on the other side of the table for once…. well thats all for now

this is a great new recessive mutation that holds awsome potential! This gene just glows in person, and is the key to many awsome combos. These guys feature a pale cream yellow on a violet bacck ground. we hope to work this gene into fireflys and cinnamons this season

Well as with alot of breeders, breeding reptiles has been good to us. As much as it can take up a good part of my time, this is not my main career. I thought i would blog about what else we do apart from breeding pythons. I know this may not be a blog your all pumped about but i thought it would help you get to know us a little more. apart from ocd reptiles, we also own and opperate a wild life removal company. Its a cool job that puts is in some interesting situations. I get to fly birds of prey for bird control contracts, run dogs for goose control contracts, and get other interesting critters out of peoples homes. I feel very privilaged to find my niche in life and its pretty cool to get paid to play with animals for most of the day..lol Well if you want to find out a bit more about the removal business you can check us out at www.apexwildliferemoval.ca there are a couple old youtube vids there aswell as some info. sorry this week wasnt snake related but im going to make it up next blog. trust me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This combo has to be one of the more desiarable crosses. It is a mixture of the lesser platinum and pin stripe genes and features a full dorsal stripe with creams and beiges running up and down the side of the animal. We hope to produce many combos using this cross, and feel that the next generation crosses with it will be stunning

This is a very interesting combonation between the spider and pinstripe genes. both morphs compliment each other well and produce a very reduced pattern bronze snake. We are very happy to have these in our collection and look forward to mixing them into our desert projects.
